These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Long Chat Booster for ChatGPT ("Long Chat Booster", "we", "our", or "the extension"), operated by yuchen. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms.
Product Description
Long Chat Booster is a Chrome extension designed to improve responsiveness in long ChatGPT conversations by reducing old message rendering load locally in the browser.
Relationship to OpenAI and ChatGPT
Long Chat Booster is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to OpenAI. ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI.
Free and Pro Features
The extension may offer free usage with daily limits. A Pro license unlocks unlimited boosted prompts, Quiet Mode, and custom visible message/load batch settings, as described in the extension interface or checkout page.
License and Device Limit
A Pro license is provided as a one-time purchase unless otherwise stated at checkout. One license key may be activated on up to three devices or browser profiles. A device slot may be released by using the extension's deactivate function.
Different Chrome profiles, different browsers, or reinstallations may count as separate activations.
Payments, Taxes, and Refunds
Payments, invoices, taxes, and license delivery are processed by Freemius. Refund eligibility is handled according to the refund policy shown at checkout and applicable consumer protection laws.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, bypass, or tamper with license enforcement.
- Resell, share, or distribute license keys outside their intended use.
- Use the extension in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party terms.
- Interfere with the extension, Chrome, ChatGPT, Freemius, or related services.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the extension at any time. Browser updates, ChatGPT interface changes, or third-party service changes may affect extension behavior.
No Warranty
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or compatibility with every future ChatGPT interface change.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the extension.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Pro features if a license is refunded, cancelled, expired, revoked, fraudulently obtained, or used in violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
